-General Summary: Rugen always has multiple research projects and expeditions going on at all times. Despite his busy schedule he is often aloof and wonderstruck by his work or discoveries which can lead to delays with project deadlines. Because of this the SPA has assigned him no less than three assistants at any given time to help keep him on track. It is a full time job to keep Rugen on task so this allows his assistants to swap out and get breaks through out the day. Despite making many famous discoveries for the SPA the most popular discovery Rugen has when he found Stickits. He has wrote many books on these little creatures and his office has been fully converted into a playground for his personal stickets. Rugen has some of the highest clearance the SPA has to offer and uses it to explore the stars. Despite being a member of the SPA Rugen does not have much trouble when having to work in sectors that are highly trafficked by the Talasii. It is rumored that he has connections to the Talasii or even family that work closely with the Crimson Wings but he avoids questions about this and the SPA has turned a blind eye to it if this is true. Rugen is always happy to ramble on about his findings or to answer questions for as long as his assistants will let him before they shoo him away to his next project.

Trivia: Rugen has spent many years trying to make a device that will allow stickits to talk. He has been unsuccessful so far but is determined to see this through. Wealthy stickit enthusiasts across they system fund this research that he does in his spare time.
