Earning Crystals:
Crystals can be earned by drawing your Cheshire Species character (Chs), the ChS of others (Giftart), doing ChS commissions, or participating in prompts and events.
This system is still considered to be in an Alpha phase and may change depending on function and potential issues. Please have patience with us as we work on this ARPG so that everyone can enjoy and have fun!
As stated above literature will be included soon so please hang tight <3
Rules
- Art that is going to be redeemed for Crystals has to be Cheshire Species related.
- Art of non Chs characters (unless otherwise allowed by a cross over event) will not count for Crystals.
- Each piece can only be turned in once. Even if a Character changes ownership the new owner may not claim Crystals on art that was already turned in by the previous owner.
- You may do gift art to earn Crystals regardless of if you do or don't have a Cheshire Species character.
- Crystals can also be earned by participating in prompts.
- If you don't want to draw someone else's ChS character or ask their permission then you can use any of the community NPCs to participate.
- If you commission someone for art of your Cheshire Species character the crystals will go to the artist completing the piece if they so wish. Or If the artist does not want them then the commissioner may receive them with the artists written permission.
- If a piece does not meet the requirements for a section you are claiming it does, then the crystal claim will be denied and an explanation given as to why. You may edit the piece and try to submit again or turn it in as is for what requirements it does meet.
- There is a Monthly earning cap of 12,000 crystals at this time. The cap resets each month so you can earn another 12,000 at the start of each new month.
- Please do not sell Crystals for Real currency (USD ect.) at this time.
- You may trade currency for items, characters, or things inside or outside of Cheshire Species worlds should another use want them.
- You may gift crystals to other members but the 12,000 Crystals a month cap still applies.
- All art that is getting turned in must be of the cannon version of your Cheshire Species Character. Art of your Cheshire Species with traits or magic they have not earned, been approved for, or in an AU will not be counted for Crystals.
- If you did a collaborative piece the amount of crystals earned will be split equally between all parties involved in the making of the piece. This will need to be listed in the submission and both parties need to submit an entry on the website with the correct image and ML information.
- These rules are subject to change or be added to as I see fit.
Companion Species Bonus
Companions featured in art or written entries will now be able to give a +10 Crystal bonus to any art.
The companion must be fully and clearly visible as well colored/described.
They will need to have anywhere between 75-100% of them shown in the art. Anything less will only count for +5 Crystals. (Minimum will be a headshot)
- The companion will need to be on the ML for this art to be recognized and must reflect the cannon version of the companion as shown on the ML.
Submitting art or literature for Crystals
- To submit your art or written works for Crystals you will have to be registered on the https://cheshirespecies.com website.
- Once there and logged in you can click the “ARPG” menu and it will show options. You can select to submit and it will take you to a page where you can link the art or written medium, the ML entry for the characters used, and the details that pertain to the submission.
- Once submitted it will be reviewed and either approved or denied by staff.
- If approved, you will have the earned Crystals deposited into your account.
- If denied then you will receive feedback on what was wrong so that you may fix it and resubmit.
