The Cheshire System gained its name from the SPA agent that discovered it. In a rare turn of events this system had multiple sentient species reaching deep space travel all within a few hundred years of one another. 'Che' held the meaning 'blooming life' in the agent's native tongue and thus named it the Cheshire System.
