What to do once you create or buy your first character?

Once you have your character created you can start working on Expeditions to progress your character through the game.
You can also do the Weekly Expedition or do Guild Work once you have joined a guild and want to rank up!
Or check out the Current Events to see if there is a larger event up for the month.
Don't forget any art or written works you do for your Shirefolk will earn you Crystals which can allow you buy potions and add traits to your character!
