DATA PENDING UPDATE

Redoa

In a time before any other creature existed on Redoa an ancient being formed on its earthy crust. Three glorious heads sprouted from its body, magnificent gossamer wings, and twin tails graced the being that Redoa would come to know as Solaris.

Redoa was mostly barren and devoid of life. Dust storms plagued the skies and muddied the oceans. Solaris journeyed across these lands and in each of their minds held dreams of what Redoa could be. Solaris’s magic was strong and deeply connected to the earth on which they had formed. As they traveled these dreams manifested as plant life growing from each step they took and, as plants took root, the dusts of Redoa began to settle into fertile soil and the oceans began to become a clear vibrant blue.

The sprouts grew into dark forests, deep jungles, and floral coasts. When the world had filled with lush green life Solaris felt that it would be shameful if it were only they that could enjoy the fruits of their labor. With their first spoken words Solaris called into being the land and sea animals of Redoa. Solaris was pleased with their work and laid down to rest for the first time since they had awoken. Unknown to Solaris during their slumber, the magic of Redoa could be felt from across their solar system and had attracted the attention of a Void Wyrm: a large and nasty creature known to many as “God Killers” and “Planet Eaters” for how they would come to magically blessed lands and consume all the life and magics it held.

Solaris awoke to the Void Wyrm casting its life-draining blight upon Redoa and quickly began to wage war against the Planet Eater.

The battle seemed to take a turn for the worst when the Wyrm managed to shatter the horn on one of Solaris’s three heads. Solaris’s horns allowed him to channel his magic safely and in a way they could control. It was then that the Wrym went to strike the final blow, and Solaris unleashed the extent of their magic upon the God killer as a final attempt to save their home.

The resulting magical clash shook Rodea to its core and while the Wyrm was defeated it also managed to split Solaris into three different beings. These beings would be known as Solia, Astren, and Lunock. Each being was deeply wounded and began to limp away to a place they found comfort in when they had once been whole.
