 Tragon's come from a geode like structure that is imbued with both of their parent's core essence. This can take some time to do and these 'eggs' grow slowly. Eventually a gem or mineral forms on the outside of this egg and this will reflect the Voidwing's core material. Each baby Voidwing has a small modified tooth on the end of their nose that looks like a horn. They will use this tooth to break open the egg from the inside when they are ready to hatch.

As they grow they are in their 'grand form' at all times and will be able to use their 'standard/condensed' form once they become a teenager.
