Brief summery: CorpiVain is a merchants guild that started after the Talasii guild was pushed out of the major systems by the SPA. The CorpiVain guild became the beating heart of the trade and commerce systems in the Milky Way. Despite being a well known guild that can have great deals on quality products, they are not always to be trusted with some portions of the guild being known for scamming, extortion, or money laundering. Other sections have very high reputation to quality. While a merchant is often an adventurers best friend it is still recommended that you become wise to market prices for goods and be wary of shady CorpiVain members. Formed in the absence of the Talasii guild after the SPA started taking control, the CorpiVain guild quickly formed and began to monopolize trade routes, and strike deals with planets for imports and exports. CorpiVain has been a major boost for the economy but does have some downsides to them. With the amount of money and power the guild has, some sections have become corrupt and offer good that are sub par, stolen, illegal. Due to the greed of some powerful CorpiVain members some planets are entirely comprised of advertisements for products and services. Every building, window, and sidewalk has adds on them often leading to sensory overload. Travelers will be drawn to these planets thanks to attractions that he CorpiVain members put there such as amusement parks, casinos, or sight seeing planets. For the inhabitants this is miserable and most that don't have contracts with the guild end up leaving the planet for a more peaceful home. These 'Ad Planets' are not always safe and can often be a gathering place for shady characters.

Despite some of these issues the CorpiVain guild is a family known name across the known systems and is trusted by most of all. The guilds PR team does a great job keeping any misdoings or bad deals under wraps so their name stays in the clear.

The presence of the CorpiVain guild in a system usually offers a large economic boost and the guild is always opening new trade routes with systems. The SPA takes full advantage of the goods that CorpiVain offers but can struggle to keep the CorpiVain practices in check due to how wide their range is. CorpiVain has no true allies and will sell to anyone despite the SPA's protests. Where there is a profit to be made you can count on CorpiVain showing up.

   Guild Accomplishment Item: Guild Key

A CorpiVain Guild key is an item given out by the guild to those that have earned them. The guild key is usually earned by performing a series of successful trade deals, creating new trade routes, creating trade or sales that will benefit the guild or multiple members, monopolizing distribution of products, or things that would otherwise bring wealth and power to the guild. The guild key is made of a few common types of metals that are practically worthless, this was to symbolize that even with little value or worth this key shows your ability to 'open new doors' to success. The more keys one has, the more recognized you are in the guild. Many CorpiVain members keep these keys on their belts or find another way to incorporate them into their outfits. Due to the pompous nature of the guild those with a large collection of keys often ignore those with few to no keys. Once enough of these have been collected the Shirefolk's rank in the guild will increase.

   Guild Ranks and Badges
   

Each guild has a ranking system that shows the status of its members. The lowest rank is 1 and the current highest is 5. Shirefolk can earn higher ranks in their guild by participating in Guild Work and earning the corresponding guild item. CorpiVain members will earn Guild Keys!

Unlock ranks by earning Guild Keys and turning them in at the Crafting Station on the http://Cheshirespecies.com website.

Important note, your Shirefolk can only earn rank up items for the guild they are a part of. Guild status is recognized per character and not per account. You may have multiple characters in different guilds if desired. Rank up items are character specific and can not be given to other players nor to other characters. If a character is traded, gifted, or sold, all rank up items, badges, and character specific items will go with them.
