General Summery:

The Abyssal Forest is a mystical location that is very important to the Alfien people. The forest is comprised of large megaflora and trees. A decent portion of the mega flora found here is carnivorous. It is also home to rather large 'golems' that patrol the forest and protect it from anyone not local or a witch. The thick fogs that blanket the forest floor make it hard to navigate through safely and it is very easy to get lost. Many brave souls seeking the help of the witches have met an untimely end in this forest. It is said that the spirits of these passed travelers still wander the mists. Some may try and lead you out to safety while others will try to lure you to your doom. This is part of why this forest does not allow visitors from off planet to travel here.

The witches that live inside these forests usually never leave and some spend their entire lives in the forest. The strong super natural energy that seems to focus here fuels the witches power and allows them to carry out their rituals while hidden in safety. It is said that the witches are responsible for helping to keep world eaters and other dark forces at bay. Many wish to know more about them but they are a very secretive bunch and it is rare for them to speak to others outside of their coven. 

The forest can seem to have a mind of its own and the locals will tell you that it favors the witches. Letting them come and go as they please with little trouble or resistance. But those that wish to find them with harm in their heart will often find the golems or their own demise instead. 

For your own safety it is advised that you steer clear and don't listen to the spirits should they try to speak with you. To avoid being possessed you will need to know Spirit Speaker magic which is taught by [[Terris]].
